Biography

Eric Obwaka is a Kenyan entrepreneur, business coach and motivational speaker renowned for his expertise in business networking and social capital development. He is the founder and CEO of The King of Business Networking Academy, where he helps entrepreneurs and sales professionals sharpen their networking skills to boost sales and income.

From fear to mastery

His journey into business networking began as a personal challenge. Initially apprehensive about networking events, he overcame his fears through training and experience. That transformation inspired him to help others facing the same challenge — to date he has mentored over 2,500 individuals.

Rotary & BNI leadership

Eric is a Rotarian with Rotary Club Nairobi Magharibi (District 9212), where he has served as Membership Director (2023–2024, and 2026–2027), and an active member of Business Network International (BNI). He has conducted more than 75 training sessions across clubs and has trained over 100 clubs in the last three years, online and offline — including five clubs in Uganda on building social capital and one in Rwanda on peace building.

Computer Doctors

Eric is also the founder and CEO of Computer Doctors, a company specialising in security solutions such as electric fences, intruder alarms and CCTV installations.
